Anikka Molitor Juris Doctor

Anikka Molitor joined Arnoux Sharma Standeford, LLC as a law clerk in May 2026 after earning her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She recently sat for the Illinois bar examination and assists the firm’s attorneys with a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, parental responsibilities, parenting time, child support, and other domestic relations matters.

During law school, Anikka participated in the Wrongful Conviction and Sentencing Clinic and later obtained an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 license while working with the Kendall County Public Defender’s Office. There, she gained hands-on litigation and courtroom experience, including participating in both bench and jury trials.

Anikka brings a trauma-informed approach to her work and understands that clients often come to a family law firm during some of the most difficult and uncertain times in their lives. She believes in meeting clients where they are, making sure they understand what is happening in their case, and approaching difficult situations with both compassion and practical, straightforward advocacy.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Anikka spent nearly a decade in law enforcement, serving as a patrol officer and street evidence technician, in a high-volume district where she regularly responded to and investigated serious and complex criminal matters. Her experience included working homicides and other major-crime investigations, collecting and analyzing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and managing high-conflict and rapidly evolving situations. During her law enforcement career, Anikka received multiple lifesaving awards and was named Police Officer of the Year for her lifesaving efforts involving a 20-day-old infant. Her law enforcement experience developed the investigative judgment, attention to detail, and ability to remain composed under pressure that she now brings to her legal work.

Anikka earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Aurora University.

Outside of work, Anikka enjoys spending time with her wife, daughter, and their three dogs. She loves attending concerts and is an avid supporter of women’s sports.
